Changes from the Foundation

The Club Recognition Summary (CRS), EREY eligibility report, and Monthly Contribution Report (MCR) are useful tools for verifying contributions to the Foundation. Recently, the Foundation extended access to these reports to club Foundation Chairs and club Treasurers.

To provide access, the club President or Secretary should go to www.rotary.org and click on Member Access in the upper right-hand corner, then enter the name and e-mail address of the club Foundation Chair and club Treasurer. There have been other changes at the Foundation, including the fact that you now have to pay for a Paul Harris Fellow Medallion. Read more from Rich.

Note change in date of Foundation Seminar.

Simpsonville raises $8,500 through golf tournament

The First Annual Simpsonville Rotary Club Golf tournament netted more than $8,300, well exceeding the goal of $5,000.

"The success of this event in our first attempt is in direct relation to the effort club members put into the event by their personal participation, their event day volunteering and most particularly their selling of hole sponsorships," said Foundation chair Rick Moore.

The club will donate $1,500 to the Center for Community Services and will set up a regular quarterly donation to that group.
